You’ve Sung Along to Sonny Throckmorton Songs All Your Life
First, let me introduce you to Sonny Throckmorton by listing just some of the songs he's written or co-written (and yes, when you see the title, go ahead and sing a little of it in your head):
- "The Cowboy Rides Away" (George Strait)
- "Friday Night Blues" (John Conlee)
- "I Wish You Could Have Turned My Head" (Oak Ridge Boys)
- "Last Cheater's Waltz" (Jerry Lee Lewis, T. G. Sheppard and others)
- "Why Not Me" (Judds)
- "Thinkin' Of A Rendezvous" (Johnny Duncan)
and on and on and on.

In fact, Sonny was (and is) so great, another of the all-time great songwriters had a couple huge hit's with songs Sonny wrote.
His name is Merle Haggard, and he had a great hit with a Sonny song, 'The Way I Am', and another chart topper with...
Well, let's let Sonny sing it for you.
